Members of the Eco-group have been busy this week replanting our Prayer Garden. Old plants were taken out and placed into the compost bin and new plants carefully chosen:
‘We wanted to plant flowers that insects like bees would love because we want our garden to help nature as much as possible as well as being a place to pray.’ Charlotte (Y4).
‘A bee was already on the flowers as we planted them, which proves that they must like the nectar in them. I hope we see some butterflies too.’ (Nell, Y3).
‘My favourite plants are the lilies because my name is Lily!’
‘The Prayer Garden is a special place for all of us because it looks pretty and it is a place you can sit in the sun and share a moment in peace with God.’ (Daisy Y4)
