Year 6 spent a fun-filled, action- packed week, before the Easter Holidays, at The Howtown Outward Bound Centre in the Lake District. From the moment they arrived they were set many different challenges, from making up their own beds, to a jog and dip in the lake. Throughout the week, the children experienced some of the spectacular views The Lake District has to offer whilst climbing up hillsides, scrambling in the gorges and also learning how to canoe across the lake. On the final evening, the children came together for a camp fire (where melted marshmallow were enjoyed by all) and reflected on their highlights and achievements from their wonderful week away. Below is just a small selection of the photographs taken, more will be displayed in school and every child will receive their own copies at the end of the year!
