Year 3 had a wonderful visit to the Great North Museum in Newcastle (formally known as the Hancock Museum) this term. They covered two topic areas: researching animals for their extended writing lesson and then looking at artefacts from Stone Age Britain as part of their history studies. They even found time to visit the planetarium. You can see more of what they got up to in the photographs below:

“I really liked looking at the Stone Age Rock carvings, but my favourite part was the Planetarium Show,” said Mollie.
